Companies like Gazelle will pay you to send them your used electronics. They turn around and resell it or recycle it, depending on its value. What is the energy density and cycle life of the laptop batteries found in major brands? Advertising gimmicky solar chargers with statements like "will keep your most power hungry device juiced" is disingenuous, really... a 10w panel will do that?!? no it won't. This looks like an environmentalist blog masquerading as a laptop battery blog.
